Dojo Philosophy and Statement of Purpose for Full Contact Martial Arts

• Our goal at Full Contact Martial Arts (FCMA) is to serve those students seeking serious training in traditional martial arts.  We wish to teach individuals physical, mental and emotional self-defense through dedicated instructors who volunteer their time and share their knowledge to help each student.  Prospective students are invited to call or email Sensei Patko and discuss training arrangements available at FCMA.
• To maximize the quality of training received by our students, FCMA restricts our total population. FCMA is able to offer individual attention to students, often with class sizes as small as two to six (2-6) students. Our dojo treats each student as a prospective black belt and we dedicate a great deal of time to each student.  We can give this kind of attention to our students by maintaining small, intimate class sizes.
• The true martial art student believes to compete means to win or lose; the true warrior knows no defeat.
• The true warrior seeks to survive adversity and serve mankind, not compete for a plastic trophy.  Only through vigorous training and dedication can one realize enlightened goals.
• We do not compete in sport karate tournaments.
• Further information regarding possible trial classes, contractual arrangements, and fees for training will be provided via email or telephone to prospective students upon contacting Sensei Patko.
• Since FCMA is a small dojo specialized in providing a unique martial art training environment, we are not always accepting new students. We are committed to keeping class sizes small and maintaining training quality at the highest possible level.
• Prospective students are encouraged to inquire about openings at FCMA.
